Based in UK pianist Aleksei Demchenko was born in Kazakhstan and began his piano studies at the age of 6. He made his concert debut with Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra playing Brahms' 1st piano concerto, and he has successfully played many concerts all over UK and Europe, and participated in festivals such as First Medtner's Festival, Stravinsky's Festival in London and Harrogate International Festival.
He has featured in many international competitions in Europe and Russia not just as a soloist, but as a respected and perceptive accompanist. International engagements have included several appearances at festivals in Germany, Russia, Spain, Denmark, and England. His concerto performances include Brahms, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov.

Aleksei studied with Vladimir Slobodyan, Irina Osipova and Dmitri Alexeev. He graduated from Moscow State Conservatory (Bachelor Degree, 2013) and from Royal College of Music (Artist Diploma, 2018).

— In 2016 he became an RCM Award Holder supported by a Lady Ruth Fermoy Award.

— In 2017 he received a scholarship from Future of Russia Foundation in London.
